Veterans Day 2014: A note from IsoTropic Networks’ Catalyst

US Flag and soilders

I cannot think of a more appropriate time to launch our new website and blog than today, Veterans Day 2014. On this Veterans Day I ask you all to pause pay tribute and give thanks to those men and women both living and dead who serve and served our country.

My parents were displaced persons, prisoners of war, as young adults during World War II. They immigrated to the United States in 1950 and I was fortunate to be the first of our family born here. I remember my father telling me countless stories of the struggles and strength required to survive the war-torn years in Poland. Something he mentioned to me so many times was how thankful he was when the American Soldiers came and freed him. My father was a generous donor to the VFW and asked me to pass on this generosity when I had the resources. One of his reminders to me was “if it was not for them, you may not be here”. I am proud to say his generosity and tradition continue 16 years after his passing.

How wonderful it is to have a special day that honors our Veterans. Travels across the world have provided me the pleasure of meeting our men and women in uniform. Please join my entire staff and me in honoring our Veterans.

Veterans, you are dear to us all.

Well said. I did not have to send any of our 4 boys away to war but we have been touched by many relatives and friends that have served. We appreciate their service and support activites that bring a little home to the men and women that serve our country.
